Compare an app's listing across App Store countries.

Use a single numeric Apple app ID to compare its records in several countries. The listing title, rating count, currency, initial download price, and version are useful fields to record together.

You can do the comparison free in a browser. The Todoist example below shows what a saved observation looks like; it is dated evidence, not a live price or availability check.

Compare the listings by hand

  1. Find the numeric ID at the end of an App Store link, after “id”. Keep that ID unchanged. App names alone are a poor way to match products because different developers can publish similarly named apps.
  2. Open the country-specific Apple links. The table below links directly to Todoist in Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Check the country shown on the page and record the final URL if the browser redirects.
  3. Record the date and time in UTC alongside each observation. Copy the listing title, total rating count, listed initial download price and currency, and version. Keep currencies separate rather than silently converting them.
  4. Mark fields you cannot see as unknown. If a link fails or a result is missing, record that observation and retry the specific app-country combination. Do not turn one failed request into a claim that the app is unavailable.

One Todoist observation, three countries

These rows come from the saved public country-comparison report. They refer to the same Apple app ID, 572688855. The timestamp belongs to this observation; the linked App Store pages may show newer data when you open them.

On smaller screens, scroll the table sideways for every field.

Rating count means the count returned in this saved Apple metadata record. It is not an install count. This table makes no historical change claim. Report completed at .

Read each field for what it is

A storefront title is listing text for that country. It does not tell you which interface language an installed app will use. Check the app’s supported languages and, when necessary, the app itself before making a language-support claim. A Spanish title and an English title can still identify the same app.

The listed initial download price is separate from subscriptions and in-app purchases. A zero in this column does not mean every feature is free. This comparison does not collect an in-app purchase catalog or compare subscription offers. Open the relevant Apple listing and product terms for that separate question.

Rating counts describe the returned storefront record at the recorded time. Do not treat differences between countries as a direct measure of audience size, installs, or demand.

What an API comparison can establish

Apple’s Search API documentation describes a country parameter and ID-based lookup requests. Lookup is the more direct starting point when you already know the app IDs. Keyword search instead returns a bounded sample; it is not a complete App Store index.

A returned record supports a narrow statement: Apple supplied these fields for this ID and country at this time. An empty response, failed request, or missing field needs its own status. It does not by itself prove permanent unavailability, a global removal, or the reason a listing differs. Keep the source URLs and observation times with your notes.

Prepare the same comparison for Radar

The local starter accepts one to three App Store links or IDs and up to three countries. It prepares JSON without looking up your apps, sending the pasted data to Apify, or starting a run. Copy the input, then paste it manually into a new saved task on Apify.

Running the Actor needs an Apify account and is subject to Apify’s account and platform terms. The current Actor price is $0.25 for each fresh completed run, including the first baseline, later reruns, and reports with zero matches. Reuse the same saved task and search name for comparisons. Viewing the public example is free and does not start a run.
